How To Become A Non-Nude Web Cam Model

This is harder said than done. Non-nude cam models are rare, but on the bright side that means that your shows will be unique. Some models choose to only get naked in private chat or in videos, others choose to be completely non-nude. While it’s tricky to navigate, it’s possible to become a successful non-nude model!

First, define what you mean by non-nude.

Non-Nude means different things to different models, and it’s important you decide your boundaries before you begin camming. What does non-nude mean to you? Will your lingerie come off, or will you be keeping it on? How revealing will your lingerie be? Sheer or more covering? And the list goes on. Clients and audiences will test your boundaries constantly and get you to go as far as you will go. They will ask you questions you didn’t even think of so that is why this step is really important. The last thing you want to do is to do something and then later regret doing it.

Decide what you are comfortable to explore with your sexuality.

You also want to clarify what you are comfortable with regarding other sexual acts. For example, are you okay with doing “dirty talk”? Doing a dildo blow job show? Etc. These are things you do not have to be nude for but, of course, are very sexual.

Let your clients know what you expect from them and are comfortable (or not comfortable) with them doing.

You should also clarify what you are comfortable with in terms of what you expect from your customers. Are you okay seeing them naked or exposed? Are you okay with them talking to you in a sexual way and/or masturbating to you?

Your Persona

Many models adopt personas or alternate personalities when camming to keep their work life and personal life separate, as well as protect their personal privacy. This is specifically important for non-nude models, as you’ll have to make your show specifically interesting if you plan to stay clothed. This new persona can have a new name, personality and even look if you’re up for it. Decide what kind of content you want to produce and go from there, choose a name, personality and look that matches the content. You can try new makeup styles, maybe change your voice a bit, buy a wig if you’d like! All of this attention to detail will definitely help you get a regular audience and clientele base.

Content

You’ll want to come up with activities and what shows you’ll do. Even if you do non-nude teases, you could encounter sexually charged members and it can be difficult and frustrating to explain over and over again that you will not be going further in terms of nudity/masturbation. In a world where millions of cam shows are simply a click away, you have to make sure your content is unique and compelling. Develop a theme to help you stand out. It can be costumes or cosplay, particular sectors of your show, toys you use, games you play - anything! This will help keep clients entertained with something other than nudity.

General tips:

  • Whatever you do, you'll still have members in your room who are puzzled, outraged, and very hostile to you since you're non-nude. S omewhere in the middle, you'll find members who constantly criticise or poke you, saying they're waiting "for the day" you get naked. It can be exhausting and disheartening, but if you're aware of it ahead of time, it should be much simpler to deal with.

  • You will need to get used to communicating your comfort zone. Constantly. Every shift. It depends on your persona but it is often best to do this in a calm and positive way.

  • There will be days where you feel like the only thing guys tip for and value are nudity and/or sexual acts. It can be very draining on you, but remember that it is much more important to protect your boundaries than make money camming doing things you’re uncomfortable.

  • You will receive offers from users who will believe you have a price for getting naked or that you will get naked in a group, private, or video setting. They may even offer you a large sum of money or an incentive to strip naked. It may be tempting to do so (especially on a quiet night or in a slow patch), but it's vital to stay focused on what makes you happy rather than getting caught up in what other members are doing. Even as a completely naked model, it's hard to make everyone happy, so focus on what makes you happy first.
